I’m about to fly back to Sydney to dive into full pre-production on The Bunyip Movie - my first feature film - and I gotta say, I am SUPER excited by the project. So today, before a script meeting with Denby Weller the writer of the film and my partner in crime (read co-director/co-producer), I am diving head-first into google to do some research on cryptids and bunyip lore.
So - what stories have you read about Bunyips? What do they look like? Have you ever had a close encounter with a Bunyip? Were you told scary stories as a child about the big bad bunyip??? I don’t know about you but when I was young I had a fabulous book about a grumpy bunyip with a toothache I think it was!
